MR129 Mirror Triangle Tweeter Mounts

Angled 60mm tweeter pods built into replacement mirror triangles for every Mercedes-Benz R129, 1989–2002.

The mirror triangles are the small triangular trim covers at the front corner of each door, where the side mirror meets the body. This version of our MR129 Mirror Triangle carries a molded 60mm pod on each side, angled toward the cabin — the ideal spot for a pair of tweeters, right where the factory never gave you one.

Designed in-house from a 3D scan of the original part, with the factory mounting structure replicated on the back side. The mounts snap directly into the factory location — plug and play, no cutting or drilling of your car.

ONE POD, MULTIPLE USES

Inside each pod, the face includes a centered pilot hole and a circular guide divot. Use them as your drilling guide to create the exact opening your component needs — whether that is a tweeter for your sound system, a custom gauge, a digital display or screen, or another compatible smart device.

This is the first size in the range: 60mm, sized so you can drill the face for a 2-inch round pod or gauge. Additional sizes are planned.

FINISH

The mounts come unpainted. They are ready for the finish of your choice — paint them to match your car, or cover them in the upholstery material of your choice.

This listing is for the physical, ready-to-install product. Each set is produced by our production partner — please allow 20–30 days for production (often less) before shipping.

Ships in a small box (approximately 6" × 6" × 4", about 1 lb).

INSTALLATION

The mounts snap into the factory location at the base of each side mirror. Before fitting your chosen component, use the centered pilot hole and guide divot on the inside face to drill the opening your application requires, then wire and install your component. Test-fit before final installation, and handle the mounting clips with care, as with any trim piece.
